I love the summer holidays so much, I can't believe it's going to end in one month! ): Three months really zipped by so quickly. Sigh we'll be in yr 2 already! Yikes. I am officially a Political Science major, so stop asking if I'm taking Psych or what. 4 core mods next sem (HOPE I get it!!!)
Been hanging out in Tampines/Simei/far east a lot recently. Well, Jai has been teaching in Loyang & since I'm the unemployed one, I usually just travel to the "FAKE EAST" haha. Truth be told, I'm super sick of Tampines One! Heading there on Friday (AGAIN) to swim! :D Then Saturday is finally off to the REAL EAST, ECP! For cycling with smoo kids :D Whoopee can't wait.
Been eating out a lot! Buying clothes online AND irl TOO MUCH. Plus redang AND bintan are burning a massive hole in my pocket! Still have to pay Anthea and I'm cleared of my debt! Sigh. Ordered a maxi online (hehe yes I am boring and unoriginal, the whole world has maxis and I am following suit whoo). It's simple and mono-coloured, unlike all those floral ones that are springing up everywhere. I really think it's something I can wear to school without feeling like I'm trying too hard hahahaha. Okay I'm trying to justify my buy here, haha! Whatever, I hope it fits me well (: it's navy blue, HAHA, my favourite clothing colour hehe. I was shopping in Zara that day with Jai and I didn't really wanna admit it, but he said it out, that I have TOO MANY blue clothings! True is true. But but but I look good in blue! hahahahaha super bhb, but I can't do black, so blue is the nearest to a dark colour? So anyhow, he didn't wanna let me try blue clothes, HAHA. Good attempt I guess, I wanted to get a coral skirt with heart prints, but it was waaay too short haha. I used to think, shopping with a guy is damn weird, but I think I don't mind it now haha. Love picking out clothes for Jai though! Too bad no sizes AND he is damn picky ("ee the quality so cui", "why no cufflinks one?" etc). And when he picks out clothes for me, it's almost amusing.
Had korean food with Kehui & Meldee yesterday at Kim's Korean Restaurant near Beauty World. It's a family restaurant run by Koreans (not those local yuppies who think they know Korean cuisine so well). We had the lunch set, which was one hotplate of either beef/chicken/pork with rice. I had chicken and it was SO FILLING. Plus the side dishes and our spring onion pancake (yum). Too bad they didn't have the seafood one, and Meldee doesn't like kimchi. Anyway we were stuffed. And those two really had a lot of drama to share hahahaha. Miss my iras peeps, NOT the job, but the memories hahahaha. Like kopitiam, 6th floor tehbing, wee nam kee, waffles, etc. Bought some tarts for Jai after and we chilled at Bukit Batok hahaha cool sia. Then was the mrt ride home with Melody where we met this American man trying to "teach people about Jesus Christ". He's a mormon, and we think he's from a cult (highly probable). Idk why but when I think of such fundamentalist/extremist Christians, KKK comes to mind, oh and abortion clinics bombers. IDK WHY DON'T JUDGE ME. They're just so extreme? Okay anyway it was an interesting encounter.
HOME! Where I watched Buffetlicious on ch5 cause Jai forced me to turn on the tv. WAH FUNGRY PREASE. We're going to try Don Quijote's Sunday Brunch during National Day weekend because we're lame like that hahahaha. Then I watched The Noose for the first time (YES I KNOW LAH I VERY LAG BUT I DON'T WATCH CHANNEL 5 ANYMORE KTHNXBAI) and Michelle Chong is really good with impersonations! No Barbarella though ):
SHOPPED WITH MC TODAY. or rather I watched while she burned her wallet hahahaha. Then HOMEEEEEEEEE.
Tomorrow shall be a me-day. I'm going to attempt to make the shrimp pasta Hwee made ages ago! Suddenly have a craving for that! :P And read a good book or watch some DVDs.
SUMMER TIME, IT'S GOOD (:
